The Indian government has almost completed the sale of wheat from state reserves, having sold 2.97 million tons out of the planned 3 million tons.
It is noted that despite efforts to stabilize prices, the situation has not improved dramatically. Thus, the cost of wheat in the domestic market remains higher than the planned 2.425 rupees / quintal, and at the last auction the selling price varied from 2.54 to 3.275 rupees / quintal.
